Salary: Starting from £19.30 per hour + £0.50 per hour livestock transport bonus (plus unsociable hours pay rate of £1.25/hr for 18:00–06:00 and weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Guaranteed 50 hours per week (Rolling shift or Tuesday–Saturday patterns available)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for their transport and logistics team in Brackley. Key Responsibilities
Livestock & General Transport: Collect livestock safely from farms according to the daily catching plan, deliver finished refrigerated goods nationwide, and ensure load security at all times.
Compliance & Documentation: Correctly complete driver envelopes, pre-op checks, tachograph entries, weighbridge slips, and poultry transport certificates. Report any vehicle defects promptly.
Communication: Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any delays, issues, or route updates.
Safety & Welfare: Prioritize animal welfare during transit and strictly adhere to health, safety, and driver regulations while wearing provided PPE.

What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 6 months of verified HGV Class 1 driving experience.
Licences & Qualifications: Current CPC, valid Tacho Card, and no more than 9 points on your driving licence.
Knowledge & Attitude: Good working knowledge of driver regulations, flexibility to meet business needs, and a positive, professional attitude.
Important Requirement: Due to strict Bird Welfare standards, applicants must not own any avian pets or poultry.
