About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Bank / Relief Care Assistant for Icknield Court. Conveniently located close to the town centre of Princes Risborough and within easy reach of High Wycombe, Icknield Court provides a friendly and modern living environment featuring 90 individual rooms across six separate wings, complete with wonderful communal and outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy.
As a Care Assistant, you will make a real, lasting difference by supporting residents with daily routines, personal care (such as washing, bathing, and mobility), and engaging social activities. While some days may have their challenges, you will also share laughs, have fun, and become a valued part of our extended family, bringing kindness, dignity, and exceptional care to our home.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Care: Support residents with personal care routines and daily living tasks with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with residents, providing emotional support and a friendly, cheerful presence.
Engagement: Encourage residents to take part in daily activities and hobbies, helping them lead happy and fulfilled lives.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider care team to maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing living environment.

Experience: Both experienced carers and those completely new to the care sector are warmly welcomed! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing professional development.
Personality: A warm, empathetic, patient, and friendly nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect easily and positively with residents, families, and colleagues.
