About the Role
We are partnering with The Links Care Home in Broadstone to find a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. The Links is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help residents live their best lives in a warm, welcoming community.
As a Kitchen Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as a vital link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring that every mealtime is a wonderful and comforting experience that makes residents feel truly at home.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the essential link between the main kitchen and our residents.
Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all preparation areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
Monitor stock rotation carefully, complying with company policies and mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Assist with catering and food preparation for special events, including summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A customer-focused attitude with a desire to deliver excellent service and make residents feel at home.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
