About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing is seeking reliable, observant, and patient Exam Invigilators to join our client, Lift Winton. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided!
In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Exams Officer to maintain a calm, quiet, and secure environment during internal and formal national examinations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations are strictly upheld, helping students feel supported, supported, and at ease during key assessment periods.
Key Responsibilities
Exam Hall Setup: Prepare exam rooms according to official seating plans, distribute materials, and verify student identities prior to commencement.
Regulation & Oversight: Deliver standard exam instructions clearly, monitor room compliance, maintain quietness, and handle any candidate queries calmly.
Paper Security: Accurately collect and securely tally exam papers and materials immediately following exam sessions.
Access Arrangements: Provide specialist support (such as reading or scribing) for students with additional access needs when required.
Policy Compliance: Adhere strictly to safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, and official exam regulations at all times.

Essential Skills & Qualities:
Calm, professional demeanor under pressure with high attention to detail.
Clear verbal communication skills and strong literacy (GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or equivalent preferred).
Ability to follow strict instructions and guidelines consistently.
Patient, thoughtful approach with an interest in supporting young people.
No prior invigilator experience required—full role training is provided.
