About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit an experienced and visionary Depot General Manager for their fast-paced logistics depot in Andover.

In this critical senior leadership role, you will take overall responsibility for leading all aspects of the depot—which supplies more than 400 stores—turning Co-op’s wider logistics strategy into an effective, safe, and customer-focused operational plan. Managing a team of around 400 colleagues, you will own relationships with third-party suppliers, trade union partners, and senior stakeholders across the business.

• Key Responsibilities: Managing depot operations to budget; leading, coaching, and developing an engaged multi-disciplinary leadership team; driving a culture of continuous improvement; and ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and seamless flow of products through the supply chain network.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you should bring:

• Extensive experience leading large-scale teams within a complex operational environment.

• A strong track record of delivering positive change and managing substantial budgets effectively.

• Solid understanding of logistics, manufacturing, site management, and/or end-to-end food retail operations.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a passion for developing others.

• The ability to reliably commute to Andover.
