Role Overview

As a Warehouse Shift Leader (Night Shift), you will help run operations in one of Lidl’s distribution warehouses, leading by example and seeing the direct impact of your leadership at the end of every shift. From opening, running, and closing shifts to training new starters and mentoring your colleagues, you will have plenty of chances to get stuck in, keep your team motivated, and make a massive impact on daily logistics.

Core Responsibilities:

• Line Management & Development: Lead an amazing team, providing the coaching, training, and development they need to succeed.

• Shift Leadership: Take responsibility for colleague performance, direct reports, and the smooth execution of night shift operations.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other Shift Leaders and your Department Manager to ensure seamless RDC operations and personnel management.

• Values & Mentorship: Motivate your team while actively championing Lidl's core Company Values.

• Process Efficiency: Proactively promote efficient working methods, spot and highlight operational inefficiencies, and perform core warehouse duties (like moving stock, picking goods, and processing returns) as needed.
