What You Will Be Doing

• Contribute to psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based treatments under the supervision of a Senior Psychologist.

• Facilitate psychological interventions on a 1:1 and/or group basis, monitoring and reporting on their effectiveness.

• Assist with designing and delivering specialist training and leading staff reflective practice sessions.

• Complete outcome measures, maintain clinical databases, and write professional reports for various audiences.

• Assist with clinically related administration, service evaluation, research projects, data analysis, and clinical audits.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of an upper second-class honours degree in Psychology, conferring eligibility for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

• Previous experience working as an Assistant Psychologist in a forensic, mental health, or similar care setting.

• Experience maintaining office systems, handling clinical administration, and undertaking research or audit tasks.

• Creative thinking, clinical efficacy, strong organization, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic models and professional standards (including HCPC standards and the BPS code of ethics).

St. Neots Neurological Centre is centrally located in Cambridgeshire, providing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and complex care for adults (males and females) affected by neurological or mental health conditions for which challenging behavior may be the leading impairment.
