Salary: £13.45 - £14.30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (33 hours per week, alternate weekends — Day or Night shifts available)

We are partnering with Waverley Grange (part of Bupa) to find a driven Senior Care Assistant for a permanent role. In this pivotal position, you will take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, supporting clinical duties alongside nurses, and ensuring our residents receive exceptional, person-centred care that honors their independence and dignity.
What You’ll Be Doing
Taking day-to-day responsibility for running a unit and leading shift handovers for the care team.
Assisting with clinical duties, including supporting nurses to observe residents, administer medication, review care plans, and maintain accurate records.
Guiding, training, and supervising new staff members so they feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their roles.
Building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals like GPs and District Nurses.
Assisting residents with personal care and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are fully met.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a senior care role, with a strong understanding of its rewards and challenges.
Ideally holding or working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Care (full support and training provided if needed).
A motivated, positive, and proactive mindset with great interpersonal skills and a natural passion for making a real difference.
