We are partnering with Norewood Lodge in Portishead—a coastal care home offering wonderful views of the Bristol Channel, large gardens, and an impressive 9.3/10 carehome.co.uk rating—to find a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant. Norewood Lodge provides tailored residential, nursing, palliative, and convalescence care for individuals over 50 in a modern, supportive environment.
As a Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will be at the heart of daily life, providing person-centred care that supports independence, honours choice, and ensures residents live a life they truly love.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with a wide spectrum of individual requirements, ranging from friendly companionship to comprehensive personal care.
Observe, manage, document, and report any changes in residents' behaviour and needs in line with required legislation and care plans.
Support residents' nutritional and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plans.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and on an individual basis.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
What We Are Looking For
A motivated, positive individual with a caring nature and great interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
