In this vital support position, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the hospital's clinical departments. You will interact directly with patients to provide comfort and reassurance while safely transferring them to and from surgery, assisting with equipment movement, and helping maintain a clean, well-functioning theatre environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transfer patients between their private rooms and surgical theatres, providing a reassuring and empathetic presence.
Assist the clinical team with moving heavy medical equipment and maintaining proper setup across theatre environments.
Support the maintenance and thorough cleaning of surgical equipment and clinical areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring, compassionate approach to patient interaction.
Physical capability to handle active duties, including pushing patient beds and lifting equipment.
Willingness to undergo a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) background check.
