Role Overview
Working closely with the Plant Controller and the wider management team at the Peterborough site, you will support key financial activities to ensure accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and insightful analysis that drives business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify performance trends.
Prepare and analyze cost accounting data, including production costs and inventory valuations.
Support internal and external audits, maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with standards and policies.
Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and support overall business performance.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and project support as required.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Hold a relevant degree, be AAT qualified, or be part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
Relevant professional experience working within a finance environment.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A proactive drive to continue professional development and work towards a recognized accountancy qualification.
