Kitchen Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Kitchen Assistant to join a welcoming care home in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality service to residents. You will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team while helping create a positive dining experience for residents every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Support chefs with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining clean kitchen and food preparation areas.

• Ensure stock rotation and food safety procedures are followed in line with hygiene regulations.

• Assist with catering for special events and activities within the care home.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards one.

• Passion for food preparation and delivering excellent customer service.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
