Senior Care Assistant (Day)

As a Senior Care Assistant (Day), you will oversee daily shift routines, guide care staff, and ensure personalized care plans are carried out effectively. You will combine hands-on care delivery with team leadership responsibilities across flexible full- or part-time day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and guide care staff during day shifts, helping coordinate care tasks and daily routines.

• Assist residents with personal care routines, including washing, dressing, personal hygiene, and mealtime support.

• Maintain clear care records and promote a supportive, resident-focused atmosphere.

Requirements

• Team leadership skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Willingness to complete an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care upon appointment (holding Level 3 or previous Senior Care experience is desirable).

• Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Saffron Walden, UK.
