As an Academy Physiologist, you will undergo a comprehensive 3-week initial training course followed by a 12-month preceptorship programme. Based in Ipswich with regional mobility, you will conduct health assessments, deliver holistic advice on exercise and lifestyle, and support both preventive care and rehabilitation.
Conduct comprehensive health and wellbeing assessments, delivering actionable insights to clients on physiology, nutrition, and fitness.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care, health prevention, and recovery strategies.
Travel within the base location region to deliver health assessment services, maintaining high standards of care and client focus.
Degree in Sport and Exercise Science (or equivalent, minimum 2:2) covering human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology, and nutrition.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally from the Ipswich base site.
Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach and ability to apply academic knowledge in practice.
