We are currently recruiting on behalf of Sutton Lodge Care Home in Weybridge—a warm, welcoming community dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and helping residents live their best, most vibrant lives.
We are looking for a creative thinker and "chief fun officer" to join the team as a Lifestyle & Wellness Coordinator. In this role, you will design and deliver a joyful, engaging schedule of events, hobbies, and therapeutic activities that bring laughter, camaraderie, and purpose to our residents' days.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, lead, and run engaging morning and afternoon activity sessions (such as arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, quizzes, and exercise classes).
Produce, manage, and update an activity planner within a set budget.
Coordinate bespoke one-to-one sessions with residents, using reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a chat.
Organise birthday surprises and liaise with external companies, local community performers, and guests to arrange exciting events and days out.
Support the home with updates to its social media channels as required.
A creative, positive thinker with plenty of innovative ideas and a great sense of humour.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, paperwork, and shifting priorities.
A natural passion for caring for others, boosting spirits, and spreading an infectious enthusiasm for improving lives.
