About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Relief Support Worker for our home on Buckingham Road in Aylesbury.
In this role, you will make a real, positive impact on residents' lives every day. Whether you are assisting with daily routines and personal care, offering companionship, or joining in on fun activities and hobbies, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents lead happy, fulfilled, and independent lives. You will also help with light household duties, involving residents where appropriate to keep living spaces clean and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Support: Assist residents with personal care routines and daily living activities with dignity and respect.
Companionship & Activities: Engage residents in fun activities, social events, and meaningful conversations, creating lasting memories.
Household Upkeep: Maintain clean and tidy living spaces through light household duties, encouraging resident participation.
Relationship Building: Act as a positive role model, establishing trusting, warm connections with residents and the wider team.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Ideally holding, or willing to work towards, a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience: A proven track record in care and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of support for older people.
Attitude: A positive, eager-to-learn individual with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with others.
