Job Title: Registered Nurse - Bank
Location: Green Gates Care Home, 2 Hernes Road, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX2 7PT
Rate of Pay: £21.23 to £23.40 per hour (depending on experience)

We are partnering with Green Gates Care Home in Oxford to find a dedicated and compassionate Bank Registered Nurse. At Green Gates, the team is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help residents live their best lives.
As a Bank Registered Nurse through Supportive Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in managing the unit alongside clinical duties. You will oversee care, administer medication, evaluate individual care plans, and provide expert clinical guidance to the wider team while being trained on cutting-edge digital care systems.
Take overall responsibility for resident wellbeing, ensuring physical, emotional, and social needs are fully met.
Coach and guide the care team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and care professionals.
Carry out clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
Monitor work areas and practices to ensure high clinical standards, safety, and full compliance with relevant policies and CQC legislation.
Effectively handover clinical issues to other team members and health care professionals, demonstrating strong critical thinking and calm leadership—especially during night shifts.
A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a deep commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and continuous professional development.
Previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and helping with CQC tasks.

Effective communication skills and the confidence, self-reliance, and critical thinking needed to manage care staff independently when required.
