As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find an experienced and passionate Cook for Chesham Leys in Buckinghamshire.
Chesham Leys is a modern, purpose-built nursing home providing tailored care for 62 residents across three distinct floors, conveniently located close to Chesham town centre. In this role, you will take pride in creating delicious, nutritious meals that are central to our residents' daily happiness and wellbeing. Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, visitors, and staff.
Cater for specialist dietary requirements and ensure exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene.
Engage warmly with residents and their families to understand personal food preferences and enhance their dining experience.
Work collaboratively as part of a friendly, dedicated catering and care team.
Experience: Previous experience working in a professional kitchen, catering for large groups, and managing specialist diets.
Qualifications: Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent is ideal, though not essential).
Attributes: Pride in your culinary work, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, caring approach towards elderly residents.
Competitive Pay: £13.13 per hour.
