• Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour

• Hours: Permanent, Full-Time or Part-Time (Night shifts, including alternate weekends on a rolling rota)

• Experience: Nursing home experience is desirable but not essential—newly qualified nurses are warmly welcome!

Your Role: What You’ll Do

As a Night Nurse, you will be the clinical heart of the home during the night, leading the care team, managing shifts, and ensuring our residents receive safe, dignified, and highly personalized clinical care.

• Shift Leadership: Take charge of night shifts as the Nurse in Charge, directing care assistants and managing shift planning.

• Complex Clinical Care: Overlook medication management and perform vital clinical duties (including syringe drivers, catheterisation, taking bloods, PEG feeds, and stoma care).

• Care Technology & Planning: Utilise the Person-Centred Software (PCS) system to plan, manage, and review detailed, tailored care plans.

• Collaborative Practice: Liaise smoothly with GPs, emergency services, and Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT), keeping clinical governance and safeguarding standards impeccable.

• Nurture Wellbeing: Champion resident comfort and choice, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and at home during the night hours.

What We Are Looking For

We seek compassionate, clinical decision-makers who pair strong professional skills with an empathetic and patient-focused approach.

• Credentials: A recognized nursing qualification with an active UK NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).

• Clinical Knowledge: Strong clinical assessment skills, dementia care awareness, and medication administration experience.

• Technical & Legal Understanding: Essential familiarity with the PCS system, the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

• Physically Active: Comfortable performing physical nursing tasks, including assisting residents with mobility.

• Eligibility: Right to work in the UK and a commutable distance from Gateford Hill in Worksop.
