Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital, hands-on part in making sure Lidl's 2,000-plus products get into the hands of happy customers—taking pride in the fact that without you, the shelves would be empty. You will work independently through your orders, carefully listening to picking instructions and managing tasks to keep everything moving seamlessly.
Core Responsibilities:
Order Picking & Multitasking: Carefully listen to picking instructions through your headset and carry them out swiftly and accurately.
Product Packing: Pack a variety of items including meat, fruit, frozen, and chilled goods (with premium payments of £1.50 per hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C).
Stock Security & Quality: Make sure deliveries are perfectly stacked, secure, and properly checked, reporting any damaged items to your manager.
Independent Execution: Take full responsibility for working through your daily orders efficiently.
