Position: Permanent Kitchen Assistant
Location: Lent Rise House, Coulson Way, Burnham, Slough, SL1 7NL
Pay Rate: £12.97 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent / 28 hours per week (Including alternate weekends)

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find a friendly and dedicated Kitchen Assistant for Lent Rise House in Burnham.
Located in the heart of Burnham close to Slough and Maidenhead, Lent Rise House is a modern, purpose-built care home offering high-quality nursing, dementia, and respite care in a warm, inclusive setting. Joining our passionate catering team, you will help prepare delicious meals, snacks, and drinks, ensuring that mealtimes are always a welcoming highlight of our residents' day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the catering team in preparing and serving nutritious meals, snacks, and refreshments.
Maintain exceptional standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
Get to know our residents, learning their individual preferences and dietary needs to ensure a personal dining experience.
Work collaboratively as part of a warm, supportive extended family team dedicated to resident wellbeing.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Formal catering experience is not essential (we provide full training!), though holding a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is a bonus.
Attributes: A positive, can-do approach, a passion for food and hygiene, and excellent communication skills.
Engagement: A friendly, caring manner with the confidence to chat with elderly residents and understand their needs.
