Are you a qualified Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician looking for a dynamic new challenge? Morrisons is seeking a talented professional to support Pharmacists with the day-to-day running of our busy in-store pharmacy in Carmondean, Livingston. Key Responsibilities
Provide final accuracy checks on medication that has been clinically checked by the Pharmacist.
Accurately label and dispense Prescription Only Medicines (POMs).
Ensure the safe handout of prescriptions in line with pharmacy procedures.
Deliver friendly, confidential, and attentive service while handling customer and surgery queries.
Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with GPhC expectations.
Support Over-the-Counter (OTC) sales, pharmacy services, and team KPIs.
Report dispensing errors and near misses to maintain rigorous safety standards.
What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will be someone who:
Has completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course (e.g., NPA DAC).
Has completed (or is committed to enrolling in) an approved Pharmacy Technician / Accuracy Checking course (e.g., BTEC Diploma Level 3 including ACT competency).
Is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) once qualified.
Displays genuine care, compassion, and a naturally helpful approach with customers.
Is comfortable working flexible shifts and weekends when required.
