Ensure market-leading product availability and operational excellence across the department.
Efficiently manage people routines, including scheduling, absence management, performance, and talent conversations.
Deliver targeted training to build team capability, confidence, and cross-department collaboration.
Drive down and manage key cost budgets, such as waste and shrinkage, while keeping operations lean.
Take a strong leadership role within the wider store, building effective relationships with key stakeholders.
To be successful in this management role, you will need:
Great communication skills to share knowledge, experience, and best practices.
Competent and confident experience acting as a Manager in Charge.
The ability to build and maintain relationships across all areas while remaining adaptable to change.
Strong food safety knowledge relevant to the department.
The ability to navigate difficult conversations with effective resolutions for both colleagues and line managers.
