About the Role
Marina and the team are recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant on a permanent basis on behalf of Dove House in Creswell (just a 10-minute drive from Worksop), a specialist residential service supporting adults under 65 with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and sensory/communication differences.
In this vital support role, you will help service users along their recovery pathway towards leading full, valued, and independent lives through active community engagement and skill development. You will handle daily living support, personal care, and transitional work to support individuals transitioning from out-of-area placements (with all expenses and potential overnight stays covered).
What You Will Need
Experience: Previous professional experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker, exclusively with Complex Care, Personality Disorders, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities.
Attributes: A positive, resilient, compassionate, and vigilant attitude capable of handling a challenging and rewarding environment.
Proximity & Attitude: Flexibility to work 12.5-hour shifts across a 3–4 day weekly rota (including days, nights, and weekends), and ideally living within a manageable commute of Worksop/Creswell (S80 4BX).
