Working as a permanent Peripatetic Nurse (RGN) through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will travel across your region to lead multidisciplinary teams, support new resident admissions, advance staff skills, and develop tailored care plans. Your clinical expertise and can-do approach will ensure residents across multiple locations receive the absolute highest quality of life and respect.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Travel regionally across Barchester care homes to deliver and uphold elite clinical standards.
Lead, inspire, and mentor multidisciplinary care teams on every shift.
Oversee resident care plans, new admissions, and detailed risk assessments.
Ensure safe medicine administration and compliance with NMC guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Valid, active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
A recognized teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical and regulatory frameworks.
A proven track record of producing robust care plans and managing clinical risks.
Excellent communication skills, resilience, and a passion for leading by example.
