At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we partner with industry leaders to bring you high-impact career opportunities. On behalf of our client, Aldi, we are seeking a driven and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join their team in Saffron Walden.

This role offers real responsibility and serves as the perfect stepping stone for experienced team leaders aspiring toward a Store Manager position. Supporting the Store Manager, you’ll take pride in driving sales, minimizing costs, improving operational efficiency, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Leadership: Confidently run the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

• Team & Operations: Support employee engagement, train team members, and help hit key performance targets (KPIs).

• Customer & Quality Excellence: Deliver top-tier customer service, manage stock rotation, and maintain high display standards.

• Financial & Safety Compliance: Oversee till cashing up, secure safe deposits, and ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing teams within fast-paced, customer-focused settings.

• Operational Skills: Skilled in time management, cost control, and meeting/exceeding sales targets.

• High Standards: Strong focus on customer service excellence, compliance, and product quality.

• Note: Previous Store Management experience is a plus, but not essential—strong team leadership skills are what count!
