Position: Care Leader / Bank Care Leader
Location: Avon Court (Avonbourne Care Centre), Old Sarum, Salisbury
Pay Rate: £15.97 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £16.37 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank (Flexible shifts to cover annual leave and sickness)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are partnering with this leading not-for-profit care provider to find a dedicated, compassionate Care Leader for Avon Court, their specialist dementia care household.
Supporting the Home Manager, you will lead a small team of carers to deliver outstanding, person-centred care that gives residents a true sense of security, dignity, and independence. You will oversee care plans through continuous assessment and implementation while acting as a positive, motivating role model for your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a care team to deliver exceptional daily support in a specialist dementia care setting.
Support the Home Manager in planning, implementing, and reviewing resident care plans.
Manage your time effectively between mentoring team members, handling inductions or 1-to-1s, and ensuring resident wellbeing.
Use your own initiative to resolve problems, deal with queries, and take charge when needed.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting (supervisory or senior care experience is a plus, but not essential).
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).
Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a natural ability to connect with others, and a confident, supportive leadership style.
