As a supportive bridge staffing agency connecting talented professionals with premier retail brands, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a passionate Market Street Baker for their store in Worksop.

If you are passionate about baking—whether you have experience as a trained baker, working in a bakery, or in a professional kitchen—this is an opportunity you doughnut want to miss! As the face of the fresh bakery in-store, you will ensure high product availability, maintain attractive food displays throughout the trading day, and use traditional baking skills and specialized equipment (provers, ovens, mixers) to prepare delicious breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of fresh bakery items (bread, rolls, doughnuts, fruited goods) to company specifications.

• Operate bakery equipment safely (prover, oven, mixer) while upholding rigorous health and safety standards.

• Maintain fresh, attractive displays of bakery products throughout the trading day to drive sales and product availability.

• Deliver warm, friendly customer service, highlighting traditional baking skills and creating memorable moments for shoppers.

• Work flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street when required.

What We Are Looking For

• Baking Experience: Competent baking skills with the ability to mix, mould dough, and operate bakery equipment.

• Approach: Friendly, supportive, and enthusiastic about meeting new people and going above and beyond for customers.

• Work Style: Enjoys being active, working in a fast-paced environment, and using initiative to resolve queries.

• Eligibility: Must be over the school leaver’s age.
