As a Night Care Assistant at the well-regarded Beacher Hall, you will be at the heart of our mission to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. Set near the centre of Reading, our specialist home provides 24-hour nursing care and support for adults with complex needs and neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, and acquired brain injuries. Working through the night, you'll provide compassionate, person-centred support that promotes independence, honours choice, and ensures every resident feels safe and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of differing nighttime requirements, from companionship to personal care.
Observe and manage resident well-being, ensuring changes are accurately documented and reported in line with legal and regulatory standards.
Support residents' nighttime nutrition and hydration needs according to their individual care plans.
Provide physical and mental reassurance through calm, supportive interactions.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records in line with regulatory requirements.
Motivation, positivity, and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dedicated night team.
Desirable: Prior experience in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
