Role Description
Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to recruit a dedicated Deputy General Manager (Clinical) on behalf of our client for Lawton Rise Care Home in Stoke-on-Trent. Working in close partnership with the General Manager, you will provide vital clinical oversight, direct multidisciplinary nursing and care teams, uphold strict regulatory standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all residents.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily clinical operations, execute regular practice audits, and ensure continuous adherence to CQC regulations and care standards.
Mentor and lead nursing staff, managing clinical risk assessments, safeguarding investigations, and nurse preceptorship programmes.
Deputise for the General Manager in their absence, supporting general care home administration, budget oversight, and team leadership.
Requirements
Active NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) along with a recognised teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Proven clinical leadership experience within a residential or nursing care setting, including safeguarding management experience.
Practical understanding of care home operations, including basic HR procedures, budget controls, and local marketing support.
