Support Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with essential waste and recycling management teams to connect dependable drivers with vital community roles. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Refuse HGV Driver to join our team in Haywards Heath.
In this active and hands-on role, you’ll work alongside a friendly, professional team to deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. As the public face of the service, your work will help maintain high cleanliness standards, ensuring the community stays safe, clean, and sustainable.
What You’ll Do
Route Delivery: Complete pre-planned collection routes safely as the driver, leading a team of loaders to collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties.
Vehicle Checks: Ensure all rigorous vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and fully work-ready before setting off on your round.
Team Collaboration: Pitch in right alongside your loading crew—staying active, supporting your teammates, and helping get rounds completed efficiently.
Customer Service: Deliver a friendly, professional service to the local community every single day.
What We Are Looking For
Licence Requirements: Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence, alongside a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Physical Fitness: Physically fit and healthy, as this is an active, hands-on role involving outdoor work.
Team Player: A dedicated, reliable, and friendly attitude with a strong commitment to supporting team goals and going the extra mile.
