We are currently recruiting on behalf of Medequip Connect—a leading provider of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services supporting over 41,000 vulnerable, older, and disabled people nationwide—as they look for a dedicated Operational Support Assistant to join their team in Sutton on a fixed-term maternity cover basis.
As an Operational Support Assistant, you will be the administrative backbone of the Sutton Connect office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations that directly impact our vulnerable clients. You will manage incoming referrals, schedule technician and responder diaries, handle stock control, and liaise closely with local authorities, medical professionals, families, and our Emergency Response Centre (ERC).
This is a varied office-based role where your empathy, strong communication, and administrative skills will help keep community care services running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and general office support (answering calls, managing post, distribution of information).
Take and process new client referrals and schedule diaries for Technicians and Responders.
Process and update client data securely on databases, including UMO CRM, handling sensitive information confidentially.
Manage inventory, stock-taking, and in/out tracking of PPE and Technology Enabled Care (TEC) equipment.
Coordinate with the Implementation and Innovation Manager, accounts team, council colleagues, and third-party healthcare services (GPs, nurses, social workers).
Assist with local marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and customer care compliance.
