About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Night Care Assistant for a permanent part-time position in Southport, Merseyside.
In this role, you will support residents during night shifts, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for throughout the evening and night hours. From assisting with personal care and bedtime routines to monitoring wellbeing and providing gentle companionship, your dedicated support ensures residents receive the highest standard of care at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with bedtime routines, personal care, and night-time mobility.
Monitoring resident safety, comfort, and health status during night shifts.
Implementing and following personalized care plans with dignity and respect.
Providing assistance with night-time hydration, refreshments, and gentle support.
Maintaining accurate night logs, care records, and handover reports for the morning team.
About You
Experience: Previous experience caring for older adults in a residential or care home setting.
Attributes: Compassionate, empathetic, dependable, and capable of working effectively during night hours.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
