We are currently recruiting a motivated Cleaner / Housekeeper to join the team at the prestigious Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.

In this role, you will help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness across accommodation, sports, conference, and public facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests and elite athletes.

What You’ll Do

As a Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

• General Cleaning: Vacuum, mop, dust, polish, and empty bins daily across accommodation, sports, conference, and public areas.

• Facilities Maintenance: Thoroughly and safely clean toilets, showers, and changing facilities.

• Room Preparation: Prepare rooms to a high standard for new arrivals and existing guests, reporting ready rooms to the Head Housekeeper.

• Deep Cleaning: Carry out tasks such as carpet shampooing and descaling when required.

• Flexibility & Support: Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment, work efficiently to minimise guest disruption, and provide support in other areas (such as front of house) as business needs require.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience cleaning public buildings or large multi-site facilities is preferred.

• Work Ethic: A strong work ethic with exceptional attention to detail.

• Personal Qualities: Customer-focused, reliable, flexible, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
