Location: Boston (Home to a team of around 400 colleagues producing ready-to-eat salads, prepared vegetables, and snacks for major retailers like Co-op, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar, and BOL)
Pay Rate: Up to £13.97 per hour
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 3s and 2s, 06:00 to 18:00 (Days)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated production and technical talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Boston facility, we are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Skilled Operative for the day shift. This hybrid role involves operating machinery, monitoring production processes, acting as a line feeder, and supporting the team to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Machinery & Line Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery, handle ingredients accurately, and ensure smooth, efficient line performance to hit daily targets.
Quality & Documentation: Perform rigorous quality checks, maintain production standards, and complete all required production and safety paperwork.
Safety & Team Support: Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace following strict health and safety protocols, collaborate with the team, and help mentor/train new operatives.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing is essential (ideally with salads or fresh produce), along with experience operating or supervising production machinery/lines.
Core Skills: Good verbal, written, and numerical skills, a flexible approach to shifts, and a responsible, proactive attitude focused on quality and safety.
