• Location: Gosport, PO13 0PP (Supporting activities in Farnborough [GU14 8RW] with travel across Basingstoke, Hart, and Rushmoor areas)

• Salary: £25,987.00 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

In this rewarding part-time role, you will coordinate and run a vibrant programme of social activities and lunch clubs designed to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing among older adults. Key Responsibilities

• Activity Co-ordination: Plan, organise, and run a diverse programme of community groups, social outings, and lunch clubs tailored to local needs (including running established social groups in Farnborough).

• Food & Refreshment Delivery: Deliver food-based activities and light refreshments (ranging from hot drinks to full lunch clubs depending on funding and local demand).

• Service Growth & Partnerships: Develop new activities based on community feedback, partnering with external providers such as local colleges or fitness professionals.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Admin: Build strong relationships with participants and stakeholders while maintaining accurate records using digital packages like Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Passion for Community: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting older people and increasing social inclusion in the local area.

• Mobility & Accessibility: Due to travel requirements across the Basingstoke, Hart, and Rushmoor districts, access to a car is required.

• Digital Literacy: Strong organisational skills and competency with digital tools (Microsoft Word and Excel).

• Specialist Skills (Desirable): Experience with food preparation/cooking, or background knowledge in benefits support, care, adult education, nutrition, fitness, or music.
