Recognise mental health conditions and dementia, understand what good support looks like, and know how and where to escalate a concern
A short presenter-led introduction to “Mental Health and Dementia Awareness” will appear here.
Covers Care Certificate Standard 9: the needs and experiences of people living with mental health conditions or dementia, promoting positive health and wellbeing, reasonable adjustments and reporting unmet needs, early detection and signposting, and the legal frameworks — human rights, equality law and the Mental Health Act — that shape day-to-day care. Five modules, eighteen lessons, around two hours, finishing with an assessment and a SupportiveBridge certificate.
