If you are a trained baker or have experience working in a professional kitchen bakery, this is an opportunity you "doughnut" want to miss! As the face of the fresh bakery counter, you will combine traditional baking skills with top-tier customer service to create moments that matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Baking & Preparation: Mix and mould dough to prepare a variety of fresh breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products to company specifications using specialist equipment (prover, oven, mixer).
Display & Merchandising: Maintain quality, fresh, and attractive food displays throughout the trading day to promote sales and ensure customer confidence in product availability.
Customer Service: Deliver an outstanding, friendly, and helpful service, engaging with customers and highlighting Morrisons' traditional skills and fresh products.
Flexibility & Safety: Work flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and using your initiative to resolve customer queries.
What We Need From You
Baking Experience: Competent baker skills with hands-on experience working as a trained baker, in a bakery, or in a professional kitchen.
Customer Focus: A naturally helpful, friendly, and supportive style with a passion for going above and beyond for customers.
Active & Fast-Paced: Enjoy working in an active, dynamic, and varied retail environment.
Eligibility: Must be over the school leaver's age.
