As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Tesco to help candidates connect with fantastic retail careers. Tesco is currently seeking a dependable, customer-focused Tesco Colleague to join the temporary team at their Worthing Chapel Rd Express store.
This is a dynamic, people-oriented role offering great variety, teamwork, and everyday challenges. Working across service, picking, and replenishment areas, you will help shoppers experience a fantastic trip every single day.
Availability & Working Hours
Contracted Hours: 16 hours per week (guaranteed minimum hours, with options to discuss flexibility down to 12 hours if preferred).
Required Availability Window:
Monday: 11:00 – 15:00
Wednesday: 11:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 15:00 – 23:00
Sunday: 12:00 – 18:00
Note: You will receive at least 3 weeks' notice of your exact shift schedules. Applicants must be over 18 years of age to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Put customers first, providing friendly, natural service and greeting shoppers with a smile and pride.
Store Operations: Provide flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, and occasional delivery assistance.
Product Care & Standards: Stay confident with store products and services, making customer-focused decisions that support strong sales and waste reduction.
Teamwork: Work well within an inclusive team, communicate openly, and help build a positive, supportive team spirit.
What You Will Need
Must be over 18 years old to apply.
A passion for delivering great service and building rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
The ability to use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
A strong team player attitude with open communication skills.
