What You Will Be Doing

As a preceptee nurse working 37.5 hours a week (12-hour shifts), you will help people with mental health conditions navigate their recovery pathway toward a more fulfilling and independent life.

• Apply your training in real-world scenarios with the backing of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

• Support service users through structured recovery, rehabilitation, and personalized treatment programs.

• Work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, maintaining routine while staying fully engaged.

Where You Will Be Working

Thornford Park is a specialized facility featuring a combination of medium-secure units, low-secure units, and rehabilitation flats. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing personalized assessments and treatment programs for males with mental illnesses, complex care needs, or personality disorders—some of whom may have histories of offending or previous placement challenges.
