What Is Required From You?

• Right to Work: A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, plus an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or currently working towards it)

• Flexibility: As a bank role, you must have the flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as and when required (day shifts run 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; night shifts run 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)

A Day in the Life of a Bank Senior Care Assistant

• Person-Centred Care: Ensuring residents receive high-standard personal care from you and your team—including bathing, dressing, and oral care—while actively promoting rights to choice and independence.

• Care Reviews: Contributing to and carrying out care reviews with residents to guarantee their care plans accurately reflect their evolving needs.

• Medication Administration: Administering residents' medications safely, supportively, and in full compliance with standards.

• Social Activities: Leading and participating in trips out, social engagements, and organized activities within the care home.

• Leadership: Supporting new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and stepping up to lead the home when more senior managers are unavailable.
