Marie Curie needs a Healthcare Assistant for the inpatient unit at its Belfast hospice. You would help patients with personal care and meals, protect their dignity, and talk with families at a difficult time, as part of a team of nurses and other professionals.
Pay and hours: £25,272 pro rata per year (Band 2) plus enhancements. Permanent, part-time, 30 hours per week, with days, nights and weekends. Closing date: 9 Nov 2026.
What they're looking for:
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or willing to work towards it
Recent health or social care experience is preferred
Kind, clear communication and good teamwork
Some knowledge of palliative and end-of-life care
Able to notice changes in a patient and escalate them
