About the Role

Take charge of the governance, valuation, and reporting of a substantial portfolio of pension scheme investment assets! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital Pensions Investment Oversight Manager position on behalf of BAE Systems.

Operating from Frimley within a dynamic in-house pensions finance team, you will oversee services provided by external investment managers and global custodians, ensure accurate accounting and regulatory compliance, and maintain robust controls over investment asset reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provider Oversight: Manage services provided by investment managers and global custodians, participating in service reviews and KPI metric tracking.

• Accounting & Disclosures: Ensure accurate delivery of investment asset reporting for corporate and pension scheme accounts, supporting financial statement disclosures.

• Valuation & Controls: Oversee valuation processes and controls to review the validity of private markets valuation statements in compliance with reporting standards.

• Auditor & Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors regarding investment asset queries and manage stakeholder relationships across the business and trustee boards.

What We Are Looking For

• Professional Qualification: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

• Industry Experience: Proven background in investment and pension scheme accounting.

• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of investment asset classes (equities, property, private markets, derivatives) and their associated accounting/disclosure requirements.

• Communication & Drive: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to streamline processes and build collaborative relationships with outsourced providers and senior stakeholders.
