Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with community leisure providers to connect dedicated individuals with rewarding roles. We are currently recruiting a reliable Cleaner to join the team at Shrewsbury Sports Village on behalf of the Shropshire Community Leisure Trust.
In this role, you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where local residents can stay active, build healthy habits, and connect with their community.
What You’ll Do
As a Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:
Facility Hygiene: Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the building.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the safe handling and usage of chemicals in line with COSHH regulations, utilizing correct signage and storing equipment securely.
Reporting: Complete cleaning schedules and checklists accurately, reporting any maintenance defects or areas requiring attention to the Duty Manager.
Stock Management: Monitor product levels and advise management when supplies need replenishment.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous cleaning experience or a strong, demonstrable aptitude for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Core Skills: Good communication, strong attention to detail, and a pride in taking ownership of presentation.
Working Style: Ability to work independently, use your initiative, and maintain accurate records with an awareness of health and safety practices.
