Position: Advanced Practitioner
Location: Multiple sites across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire
Salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 – £72,865 per annum (pro rata), enhanced by 30% for evening work and 45% for weekend work
Contract Type / Working Pattern: Full-time and part-time options available, covering a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

As an Advanced Practitioner with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will step into a vital, dynamic role across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, or Northamptonshire where no two days are the same. Operating at the heart of rapid-response, patient-focused urgent care, you will work autonomously and collaboratively across the four pillars of advanced practice to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with diverse clinical needs.
Practise autonomously without direct supervision, applying advanced clinical skills across clinical practice, leadership, management, education, and research.
Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients requiring urgent care services using evidence-based practice.
Initiate, request, and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations and consult with specialized services as appropriate.
Exhibit exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills to manage complex clinical cases, make confident decisions, and provide patient reassurance.
Maintain comprehensive, accurate clinical records in accordance with regulatory codes of conduct and professional guidelines.
Registered Adult Nurse (NMC), Paramedic (HCPC), or Pharmacist (GPhC) with active professional registration.
Qualified Independent Non-Medical Prescriber with consolidated prescribing experience.
Demonstrated history of substantial autonomous practice within a multi-professional team environment.
Proven ability to independently take concise clinical histories and execute thorough physical examinations.
