What Is Required From You?

• Right to Work: A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK

• Experience: Previous care experience is essential, particularly in a night-shift or senior capacity

• Availability: Full-time commitment to night shifts, including working alternative weekends

A Day in the Life of a Night Senior Care Assistant

• Leadership & Support: Overseeing night operations, mentoring care staff, and ensuring high standards of safety and care.

• Personal Care: Assisting clients with personal hygiene, washing, showering, dressing, and oral care while maintaining utmost dignity.

• Medication Management: Prompting, assisting, or administering prescribed medications and creams.

• Companionship & Reassurance: Providing emotional support, comfort, and a reassuring presence during the night hours.

• Domestic & Safety Tasks: Conducting regular safety checks, monitoring client wellbeing, and maintaining light domestic tasks.

• Mobility Support: Helping clients transition safely and maintaining their independence as much as possible.
