Position: Care Leader / Bank Senior Care Assistant
Location: St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home, 2 London Road, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9BZ (Set in a beautiful, unique Grade II listed historic building offering warmth and tranquility)
Pay Rate: £16.09 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £16.49 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / Flexible (0 Hours - Bank shifts to cover annual leave and sickness as required)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit an experienced and passionate Bank / Relief Care Leader for St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home in Arundel. Housed within a stunning Grade II listed former priory, our unique home is designed to promote warmth, dignity, and a profound sense of tranquility while providing expert residential and respite care.
As a Care Leader, you will support the Home Manager by leading a dedicated team of carers to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You will ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and implemented, giving residents a real sense of security and independence while effectively managing your team's time and wellbeing.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor your care team, fostering a supportive environment and encouraging everyone to deliver their absolute best.
Care Planning & Management: Oversee the continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans.
Resident Independence: Promote resident dignity, security, and independence through high standards of compassionate care.
Problem Solving: Use your initiative to take charge, resolve queries, and support smooth day-to-day operations across the home.
Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a residential care setting with an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3). Supervisory experience (such as leading inductions or delegating tasks) is welcomed!
Personality: A positive role model with a natural ability to connect with others, lead with confidence, and motivate a team.
Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a calm, supportive, and professional approach.
Competitive Pay: £16.09 per hour Mon–Fri, increasing to £16.49 per hour on weekends.
