Salary: £10,900 per session

Location: Holes Lane Medical Centre (Working across branches including 28 Holes Lane, Woolston, Warrington, WA1 4NE and 1 Manchester Road, Warrington, WA1 3AD)

Contract Type: Fixed-Term / Part-Time (4 sessions per week, scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and patient-centred Salaried GP to join the progressive, high-achieving, and supportive team at Holes Lane Medical Centre in Warrington. Serving a population of 10,200 patients across two accessible branches near the M62 and M6, this role is supported by the NHS England Practice-level GP Reimbursement Scheme to increase capacity and improve patient access. You will provide comprehensive clinical care, managing acute and chronic conditions alongside our dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, and effective general medical services, conducting face-to-face, telephone, and alternative consultations.

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions, including long-term conditions.

• Prescribe safely in accordance with current guidance and coordinate appropriate referrals to secondary and community services.

• Participate actively in practice meetings, clinical governance, clinical audits, significant event reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records and adhere strictly to safeguarding, confidentiality, and information governance policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications & Registration: Must hold an MBBS (or equivalent medical qualification), full GMC registration with a licence to practise, inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List, and MRCGP (or equivalent).

• Experience: Appropriate general practice experience with a proven ability to manage diverse acute and chronic clinical presentations.

• Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a deep commitment to patient-centred care, and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.
