As a Senior Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will be the driving force behind a talented team of Care Assistants. You will take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, mentoring and developing your team, embracing modern digital care systems, and ensuring clinical excellence while providing compassionate, high-quality personal care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, including leading shift handovers and guiding your team of Care Assistants.
Handle medication administration, review care plans, maintain accurate records, and support CQC compliance.
Help train, supervise, and mentor new staff members so they feel welcomed, valued, and fully supported.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals such as GPs and District Nurses.
Assist residents with a comprehensive range of personal care duties and wellbeing support.
What We Are Looking For
Completed or actively working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (full support and training provided if needed).
Previous experience in a senior care role with a strong understanding of its rewards and challenges.
Highly motivated, positive, and equipped with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
