Are you practical, patient, and looking for a varied and fulfilling part-time role? Partnering with Barchester Healthcare, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant/Gardener to join the team at Hunters Care Centre.
In this role, you will help create safe, attractive, and well-maintained surroundings, ensuring our buildings and stunning grounds remain a source of joy and pride for residents, staff, and visitors alike.
Pay Rate: Up to £13.88 per hour
Hours: 24.00 hours per week (Permanent)
Shifts: Days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 3 days a week, no weekends)
Requirements: Full driving licence required
Closing Date: 3 September 2026
Key Responsibilities
Maintain buildings and grounds to the highest possible standards to create positive first impressions.
Carry out general maintenance and gardening tasks to ensure safe, attractive surroundings.
Support the upkeep of outdoor areas that offer enjoyment and relaxation for residents and visitors.
Work collaboratively with care home staff to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
What You Will Need
Previous experience in maintenance and gardening.
A full UK driving licence.
A caring, patient nature with a genuine interest in supporting older people.
Good attention to detail and strong practical skills.
